SITE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Please bookmark and revisit to see new pages and additions to existing pages.
A personal note, especially to former Combat Glider Pilots, Glider Infantry Troopers, and other site visitors who were involved in the combat operations and glider programs described in this site. This site is still under construction and has a long way to go before it is completed. Any omissions of units or operations you believe were important are not intentional; such omissions are because I either do not know about them or have not yet had time to properly include them in the site.
Most of the pages will be expanded as I find time for additional research. I welcome any contributions you may wish to make. I also welcome comments, especially if you have information that would improve the accuracy of the site. Please send any narratives or pictures you think would help improve the site to me at my email address at this link. If you do not have the capability to send photos digitally by email, please email me. I will send you my address so you can mail them to me. I will scan the photos, include them in the site where appropriate, and will mail the photos back to you.
Pages to be added:
The British Glider Pilot Regiment; Special Operations; Marine Corps Glider Pilots; "The Battle of Burp Gun Corner;" and more.
Every attempt is made to be as accurate as possible and to properly attribute material posted. Please direct any comments on factual accuracy and attributions via email at this link to the website owner.
